So. Cal Ragnar
Leg 1 5.6
Leg 2 8.3
Leg 3 5.4
A girl in our ward posted they needed 1 more runner on their ragnar team, and Dave gave me the go ahead.
It was a great experience and brought back so many memories traveling in the big white vans all growing up for Soccer trips. It was so fun to get away for a few days and meant so much for Dave to take the kids.
I wasn't expecting it to be so hot. The first run was so humid and mostly on black pavement. It was very challenging, but is also very rewarding when you push through it and finish...just like anything you're going through.
The 2nd run was at night and was one of the most fun runs I've done. We ran with bright orange reflector vests and headlamps. It was fun running to catch the next lamp ahead...for one we were in California, at night, and I was a little bit nervous, which helped me to run fast I'm sure:)
It was fun cheering everyone on, and spending 3 days in a big white van together, brought out a lot of stories, experiences, talking, laughing, good times.
